Chicago, US
I’m excited to present my photography collection from Chicago, a city known for its stunning architecture, rich history, and dynamic urban energy. As one of the most iconic metropolises in the world, Chicago offers a unique blend of modern skyscrapers, historical landmarks, and vibrant neighborhoods, making it a dream destination for photography.
My journey began at Millennium Park, where the iconic Cloud Gate (familiarly known as “The Bean”) provided a stunning reflection of the city’s skyline. Capturing the abstract reflections of towering buildings and the vibrant energy of visitors around this architectural marvel was a highlight of my experience.
The breathtaking Chicago skyline is unparalleled, especially when viewed from the shores of Lake Michigan or from the observation decks of Willis Tower and 360 Chicago at the John Hancock Center. The skyscrapers, including the famous Trump Tower and Aqua Tower, make for incredible shots, particularly at sunrise or sunset when the city is bathed in warm light.
Exploring the diverse neighborhoods of The Loop, River North, and Pilsen, I captured Chicago’s rich cultural fabric. From street art in Pilsen to the historic architecture of The Rookery Building and Chicago Cultural Center, the city’s blend of old and new is evident at every corner.
A stroll along Navy Pier offered views of the vibrant lakefront and the iconic Ferris wheel, while a boat tour along the Chicago River provided a unique perspective on the city’s architectural beauty. The impressive Wrigley Building, Tribune Tower, and Marina City towers were among the many architectural masterpieces I captured along the river’s edge.
